The incident at the center of this cycle of poems is Italian painter Gentile Bellini's sojourn to Istanbul in 1479. Dana Roeser grew up in the Philadelphia area arts literature poetry review and was educated at Tulane University (B.A.), the University of Virginia (M.A., M.F.A.), arts literature poetry review and the University of Utah.
